Dr. Peter Moore B.Sc., D.C., R.T.P.
After majoring in chemistry at an Ontario university, Dr. Moore entered the Chiropratic degree program at the National College of Chiropractic (now called National University of Health Sciences) in Chicago, Illinois. Upon graduation in 1996, Dr. Moore moved back to Ontario to open his practice in Markham, Ontario with his wife Jessica, a Registered Massage Therapist.
In the past eight years, Dr. Moore has studied extensively in the treatment of upper and lower extremity dysfunction along with soft tissue rehabilitation. He is certified in the manipulation of the upper and lower extremity and is a Registered Trigenics Practitioner (RTP).
Dr. Moore's patient base is quite diverse. Many amateur and professional athletes from all sports have sought his treatment. He has an excellent rapport with local general physicians and specialists of which he treats regularily and receives numerous referrals of patients with ailments such as: carpal tunnel syndrome, low back pain, headaches, neck pain, foot pain, etc. Dr. Moore has been asked by the Ontario Chiropractic Association on several occasions to discuss the manner in which other Chiropractors can develop a relationship with local Medical Doctors.
Dr. Moore is a member of the Canadian Chiropractic Association, Ontario Chiropractic Association and a member in good standing with the College of Chiropractors of Ontario. He is also on the editorial advisory board of the "Canadian Chiropractor Magazine". This is a well known quarterly publication on Chiropractic issues, research and current events.
Dr. Kirsten M. Thomas B.Sc.(Hons), D.C., F.I.C.P.A., C.Ac., A.R.T., P.T.S.
Dr. Thomas first attended the University of Western Ontario graduating in 2000 with an Honours Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. From there she attended the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto, Ontario graduating in 2004. During this time, Dr. Thomas completed the medical acupuncture program at McMaster University. As well, she received her fellowship from the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association focusing on chiropractic care for pregnant women and children. Dr. Thomas is also certified as an Active Release Provider (A.R.T.) for soft tissue dysfunction of the spine, upper and lower extremities. In addition, Dr. Thomas has a great interest in sport injuries, rehabilitation and extremity pain. She uses A.R.T. with many athletes for sport injuries as well as headaches, neck, back and extremity pain. She uses her Kinesiology and Personal Trainer expertise to design individual rehabilitation programs for her patients. Dr. Thomas has also taken advanced seminars in acupuncture, orthotic therapy and many different chiropractic techniques to add to her expertise. Dr. Thomas is a member of the Ontario Chiropractic Association, Canadian Chiropractic Association, Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, Canadian Ski Instructors Alliance and Can-Fit Pro.
